Camellia Flower (or Cup Coaster) *works best with 6" paper
Traditional Design
Start with the white
side up. |
Create a diagonal crease connecting the two corners. Unfold.
Create a second
diagonal crease and unfold. |
Fold one side of the
paper to the center. Fold the paper from the bottom right corner to the crease shown |
Rotate the paper
clockwise. |
Fold the right corner to the crease shown to the left of the
paper.
This fold is tougher than the others. Fold the top most
corner to the crease below it.
The dotted line represents a regular fold. The dotted line
with varying lengths represent a fold that goes upwards (a mountain fold).
When making this fold you have to tuck the paper under the
flap with the dotted line with varying lengths.
Your paper should
resemble a windmill. |
Slip all four of the
points under the corresponding layer below it. |
